The Peculiar Women of Substance Foundation has launched a new project aimed at empowering and inspiring young students in Ghana and beyond. The Senior High Impact Project was launched at the Amedzofe Senior High Technical School in the Volta region of Ghana on October 22nd, 2022.

The project aims to support students in making informed decisions about their education and careers. It offers career guidance to students, guides them in choosing the right courses in tertiary institutions, and empowers and inspires them to achieve their goals. Additionally, The Senior High Impact Project is focused on capacity-building training for students and provides them with educational materials to support their academic success.

The launch event at Amedzofe Senior High Technical School was attended by Teachers, Students, and members of the PWS Foundation. During the event, the objectives of the project were discussed, with a focus on the God factor in students’ academic journeys. There was also a talk on sexually transmitted infections to raise awareness of the subject among the students.

The foundation donated sanitary towels and learning materials such as mathematical sets and exercise books to the school. This is an important step in ensuring that students have access to the resources they need to succeed in school.

The project has also resulted in the formation of a club with over 50 members. This club provides a platform for students to continue to receive support and guidance even after the launch event.

The Senior High Impact project is a great example of how organizations can work to empower and inspire young students. By providing career guidance, capacity-building training, and educational materials, the project is helping students make informed decisions about their future. The distribution of sanitary towels and learning materials is also an important step in ensuring that students have access to the resources they need.

The Senior High Impact project is a great initiative that has the potential to make a significant impact on the lives of young students in Ghana. We hope that more organizations will follow in the footsteps of the Peculiar Women of Substance Foundation and work to empower and inspire young people around the world.
